The diamond clarity chart and Diamond education
Clarity determines price because stones with fewer flaws are rarer. Some flaws you can see and some you cannot see with the naked eye.
Color- the most expensive diamonds are the ones that are pure white. As soon as they take on a little tint of yellow, the less expensive they become. Most people prefer white diamonds if they can afford them. If you want a diamond that does not show any yellow you should stay above the letter āJā on the GIA gradingscale.com
Carat- larger diamonds are more costly but, remember that size is not everything. Just get what you can afford and remember that the meaning the diamond holds for you is much more important than whether or not it is going to impress somebody for its magnitude.
Cutting ā An ordinary 58 facet diamond is only cut once, because there is nothing unique about it. In order for a diamond to be a cold it needs to be recut in order to create the special design that results in the extraordinary brilliance of this new 69 facet diamond.
This diamond clarity chart illustrates only high quality 58 facet conflict free diamonds. The Cross of Light Diamonds are selected upon these parameters specified in the above diamond clarity chart. Once selected they are sent to one of three master diamond cutters around the world. It is only these highly specialized diamond cutters that have been able to obtain the presion cutting that is required for each Cold. This process takes several days to perfect and is cut individually, buy hand, to perfection. Although the diamond loses additional weight in this process, it has created the pattern that holds special meaning for a great many people and, in many cases improves the light performance of the original. The motive of this diamond design requires nothing less than the unsurpassed splendor. In fact, when initially recutting to this pattern of three cross we measured its brilliance on the light performance machine. It astounded us to learn that the light return from this pattern exceeded that of other well known cuts. So to us this diamond is not only the most meaningful diamond in the world but, also the most beautiful.
