Why does the Cross of Light Diamond include three cruciform images?

The Cross of Light Diamond is a diamond that is designed to evoke spiritual contemplation and reflection on the beauty of God as seen in His creation. This diamond will be meaningful for those whom are connected to one another on that deeper spiritual level.
Unlike ordinary diamonds, the motivation for the design of the Cross of Light Diamond was both spiritual and aesthetic.
The Cross of Light Diamond represents an effort to use a diamond that has spiritual meaning to express spiritual values and create spiritual experiences.
All ordinary diamonds share the same conventional faceting pattern and are cut from rough crystals into their final form. An ordinary diamond becomes a Cross of Light Diamond when it is precut into the more demanding, unique and precise faceting arrangement which results in the creation of a triadic cruciform image.
The pavilion (underside) of the Cross of Light Diamond displays sixteen more facets than an ordinary diamond. The sixteen extra facets create three cruciform (cross like) images within the stone.
Each form of the cross conveys a slightly different meaning within the Christian tradition and were chosen for that reason. Most of the splendid brilliance of the Cross of Light Diamond is light that is being reflected from these sixteen cruciform facets.
Tradition has associated different forms of the cross with different ways of understanding spiritual experience. The crosses represent the trinity.
The Greek Cross expresses a divine love for the world. It is a symbol of sacrifice and passion and is associated with the color red.
The Star Cross symbolizes the nativity. It represents a divine presence in the world. Just as the sun is the source of all physical life, the divine presence is the the source of all spiritual blessing. Its color, like the sun, is yellow.
The eight pointed Maltese Cross has traditionally been associated with: The Eight Beatitudes described in the Sermon on the Mount, and have always been regarded as the model for growing a sacred disposition characterized by a stillness and peace that transcends the ordinary. This divine transformation of the heart is associated with the color green.
Diamonds are usually acquired, given and worn to express the depth and importance of special relationships. Sometimes these relationships are experienced as “made in heaven” or “blessed by God” and many believe they are sacramental. The Cross of Light Diamond was designed to help people experience this more sacred level of the relationship.
